Game Like a Mother

Quick Take: Social game with one simple rule: fill in the blank. It's a lot of fun to play and is our remote play game of choice, this works better than pretty much any other game over teleconferencing apps. If one person owns the game they can read out prompts while everyone else writes down their answers on whiteboards or a piece of paper. Quick, easy, and so much fun!

How to Play: Be the first to reach 25 points (or the point total of your choosing). Each round, a prompt is read. Players secretly write down either an additional word or a syllable making the prompt into a new word. Once all the players have written down a word, they compare their answers. If exactly two answers match, each of those players gets three points. If more than two answers match, each of those players get one point. If an answer doesn't match anyone else's answer, that player gets zero points. Continue until you reach the point total of your choosing.

Variations: You can easily play with more than eight players, just grab some extra white boards and markers or even just a piece of paper and you're good to go. You can also play a certain number of rounds instead of going for a specific amount of points, or change the number of points you're going for to a different number. Like many social games, the rules are very flexible. Do what works best for you!
